Playbill Travel guests and Broadway’s brightest stars traveled through the Greek Isles, beginning and ending in Athens, celebrating the 10th Playbill Travel cruise on the high seas. Guests enjoyed Athens' remarkable 3,000 years of history and treasure trove of Europe’s greatest artifacts and historical sites—the Acropolis, the Temple of Parthenon, the New Acropolis Museum, the Theatre of Herodes Atticus, the Ancient Agora, the Roman Agora.
After departing Athens (Piraeus), the ship visited seven islands, each filled with gorgeous sights, interesting tours, and beautiful beaches. Our journey took us to Patmos, followed by Paros, Santorini, Syros, Delos, Mykonos, Hydra, and then back to Athens (Piraeus) to finish our extraordinary trip.
And as always, Playbill Travel brought along a lineup featuring some of the most talented stars Broadway has to offer, this time aboard Ponant’s Le Lyrial. Travel + Leisure Magazine recently praised the ship, saying, “Sailing aboard Le Lyrial is like hitching a ride on the mega yacht of your richest, most adventurous French friend. Nothing about it feels like a conventional cruise ship.”
