After the incredible, sold-out Caribbean Broadway on the High Seas 6 in 2016, Playbill Travel decided to bring this incarnation back by popular demand. In our most star-studded cruise to date, 18 of Broadway’s best joined us for the trip of a lifetime. Guests chased away the winter blues and sailed through paradise February 17-24, 2017, as Silversea’s Silver Wind led them to San Juan, St. Maarten, St. Kitts and Nevis, Antigua & Barbuda, Guadeloupe, St. Barts, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The pristine Caribbean seas and fresh sunshine provided respite from a cold, long winter.
Broadway on the High Seas 8 was more than just a series of concerts aboard a ship. The Silver Wind was home to cocktail hours, pool parties and life-long friendships. Seth Rudetsky's Chatterbox series had passengers at the edge of their seats—and tickled with laughter—learning the backstage shenanigans and inside scoops from the mouths of Broadway's performers. With new renovations, the Silver Wind’s spa, salon, pool, library, and gym had only improved. Our signature Playbill Travel programming began once everyone was back onboard, and while the ship was docked guests had the opportunity to enjoy once-in-a-lifetime excursions of all different varieties.
