Ports of Call

Sail from Brussels to Amsterdam and watch the stunning landscape of windmills, waterways and rows of blooming color unfold. With ports of call in Antwerp, Maastricht, Nuenen, Heusden and Schoonhoven you’ll find an ideal mix of old and new, historic and modern, in some of Europe’s liveliest cities.

Brussels
Explore the capitol of Belgium, where one can find a treasure trove of historic architecture, museums, and culinary gold, otherwise known as chocolate!
Antwerp
Antwerp has a long and impressive history as a critical protected port from the always dangerous Atlantic Ocean. It is the second busiest port in Europe.
Maastricht
Maastricht is a youthful university city with medieval-era architecture and 1670 national heritage sites. Maastricht is located in the Limburg province of the Netherlands.
Cuijk (Nuenen)
Follow in Van Gogh’s footsteps and stroll through Nuenen, where the artist once lived and painted “The Potato Eaters.”
Heusden
If you love to travel back to the 17th century, the city of Heusden is the place for you. The fortified city has completely renovated all of its fortifications and it boasts 134 buildings that are listed as monuments.
Schoonhoven (Kinderdijk)
We dock in Schoonhoven, where we can bike or stroll around the silversmithing town, best known for its abundance of brilliant silversmiths, clock makers and quaint shop-lined avenues.
Amsterdam
Our final full day will be spent in the Netherlands’ largest city, Amsterdam. This is TULIP DAY! If you love tulips and wish to see millions of tulips, (175,000 per acre) this day is your day.
