“Yassas!” Join us for Broadway in the Greek Isles – one of our most captivating and exciting Playbill Travel destinations to date.  Experience Grecian luxury and style, as you explore the world-famous Aegean Sea, the Greek Isles, its islands, emblematic heritage, and towns. This ultimate Greek Islands vacation is perfected by one unique quality: your stay onboard the incomparable and elegant L’Austral by Ponant Luxury Cruises.

Cruise guests will be transported to the Aegean Seas’ sheer coastlines, bordered by paradisiacal turquoise waters, archaeological sites that are as emblematic as they are monumental, and the historically fascinating cities and towns within this exciting part of the world.

Your adventure begins with arrival in the city of Athens - the mythical city dominated by the Acropolis and its monuments where travelers can marvel at some of the most extraordinary architectural and artistic ensemble bequeathed to the world by Ancient Greece. Once onboard, your first destination in the Dodecanese archipelago is the island of Patmos, also known as “the Jerusalem of the Aegean Sea”. From there, planted with forests of cypress trees and olive groves is the bewitching island of Symi with its shimmering-colored dwellings and surrounding nature - a real paradise for those seeking tranquility and serenity.

Guests head towards the most easterly part of the Cyclades to Amorgos (or the island in the Big Blue film). Fall under the spell of its volcanic and mountainous landscapes, diving into the bordering crystal-clear waters and its paved small streets edged by traditional whitewashed houses.

After an unforgettable cruise in Santorini’s captivating caldera and setting sail northwest, Broadway in the Greek Isles travels to the island of Milos with its limestone cliffs and small hidden coves - yours to discover in a soothing and tranquil atmosphere.  Next, journey to the birthplace of Artemis and Apollo, Delos. Rich in archaeological ruins and UNESCO World Heritage Sites that illustrate its prestigious history, Delos is a journey back in time almost 2,000 years, between millennia-old heritage and sumptuous panoramas.

The L’Austral then heads towards Paros. Nestled in the heart of the Cyclades archipelago, this island is reputed for its sublime white marble and offers a real concentration of Greek beauty - from whitewashed houses to olive groves and ancient monuments, incredible beauty abounds.  Sailing towards the east of the Peloponnese region, Hydra reveals its old-world charm in a stunning setting. With its hidden coves and mountains topped with monasteries, this jewel of the Saronic Islands, completely devoid of cars. offers a total change of scenery against the spellbinding blue of the Aegean Sea.

Round out the Grecian odyssey with a return to Athens, where guests can take in even more sights and sounds before heading to their final destinations.

Throughout your journey, guests will benefit from an excursion included “per person, per port of call”, choosing from a selection offered by Ponant. From the ancestral history of Hydra through its famous monuments and museums, to discovering the monastery of Saint John and the Cave of the Apocalypse, admiring the sumptuous archaeological sites of Paros, to exploring the Temples of Zeus, Apollo, Athena, and more, this cruise is perfect for young and old.

Guests may also take in the incredible accommodations and details aboard L’Austral. Featuring two restaurants, bars, lounges, a spa, pool, theatre, common spaces, and onboard activities.
